Heat sealing machines are used to join different types of materials together using heat and pressure, without the need for additional adhesive or fastening methods. These machines can vary in size and complexity, and the selection of the appropriate machine depends on the type of material being used. Below is a classification of main heat sealing materials and the corresponding machines that are used.

One material is PP. Plastics are the most commonly used material in heat sealing applications. They are versatile and can be used in packaging, medical devices, automotive industries and more. The PP films and sheets can be heat sealed together or to paper or foil. Each PP type requires different temperature and pressure settings for effective heat sealing. Hand-held and tabletop heat sealing machines can be used for small scale operations, while industrial machines can handle larger jobs with higher volumes. Like our models, there are KS-42D,KS-42DF and KS-422D and so on. These models are the automatic heat sealing and stitching packing machine for the filled bags made of PP woven with PE inner firm. The basic procedure of this series machines includes the dust cleaner(optional), trimming, heat sealing, press roll, stitching, heated seal tape etc depends on the different subclass models. Especially, there is the PPTE tape isolate the heating bar and bag separately, which protect the bag completely.

The other material is paper. Paper is also a common material used in heat sealing. Heat sealing paper can be used to create packaging bags or pouches by joining two or more layers of paper together. However, paper requires lower heat and pressure settings compared to PP, due to its lower melting point. Hand-held machines and tabletop machines can be used for heat sealing paper, whereas industrial machines are generally not used for this purpose. There are some models like KS-1 series,KS-2 series and KS-3 series.

For the machine details, KS-1 series are one-lined automatic sealing and stitching machines for the kraft paper bags, multi-layers paper bags and compound paper-plastic bags(with inner PE),which is a compact and sift-proof packing system. KS-2 series are the automatic heat sealing machine for the filled heavy duty paper bags with the inner PE film and rear closing sewing machine head, which is one line compact bag closing system.KS-3 series are the one line sealing and stitching automatic packaging machine for the heavy duty filled paper bags with the inner PE film and the middle closing sewing machine head DS-7C(DS-11 as the option). The standard working process of this series machines are the dust cleaner(optional), trimming, inner PE films heating, press roll, stitching, heated-seal tape, heated sealing and press roll again as the final step.

In conclusion, heat sealing is a versatile process that can be used to join different types of materials together. Different types of heat sealing machines are used for different materials and applications, from hand-held and tabletop machines to high-volume industrial machines. By selecting the appropriate technique and machine for each material, manufacturers can achieve consistent, high-quality heat sealing results.
