Double-needle sewing machines are commonly used in industrial sewing. They are not complicated to use. Compared with single-needle sewing machines, they only have one more stitch. Double-needle sewing machines are commonly used in the garment processing industry.

Double-needle sewing machines are prone to needle breakage during use. We must adjust and find the cause in time to reduce the frequency of needle breakage. Needle clamps should be of good quality. In actual use, a considerable part of the reasons for thread breakage are due to the use of inferior spare parts. If the needle clamp needle hole position is not standard, it will cause the machine needle to collide with the feed dog, the needle plate thickness and other dimensions are not standard, the feed dog hole is too small, and there are burrs on each thread passing part. The needle bar position is determined, which can be determined according to the scale on the needle bar.

The lateral clearance between the hook tip and the needle should be kept between 0.05 and 0.1 mm, and the hook tip should be kept about 1.5 mm above the needle hole. Adjustment of the hook opening and closing frame. When the release hook retreats to the end, a gap of 0.2 mm should be maintained, otherwise it is very easy to cause problems such as inconsistent stitches and loud hook noise. There should be a gap of about 0.5 mm between the top block of the inner core of the hook and the notch of the needle plate. If thick thread is used, the gap between the two should be increased. In short, the used suture should be able to pass smoothly.

Synchronicity of feeding time. When the needle tip drops to the plane on the needle plate, the feed dog just rises to the same level as the plane on the needle plate. If the difference is large, the synchronous belt should be removed for adjustment. When the feed dog rises to the highest point, it should be exposed about 1 mm above the plane on the needle plate. The actual operation should be determined according to the thickness of the fabric used. The feed dog and the needle plate and other thread-passing parts should be smooth and burr-free.

When sewing thick materials, a suitable needle should be selected and the sewing speed should be reduced. Silicone oil should be used for the suture, but it should be noted that it should not be used too much. The thread clamp should be clamped tightly, otherwise the suture is very easy to get entangled in the hook. The important point is to use high-quality sutures.

Sewing machine equipment is the main productive force in the industrial sewing industry. Correct use and maintenance of sewing equipment is the prerequisite for ensuring production progress and reducing maintenance rates.
